One of the most common questions couples ask before booking is: "If we reserve now, are we locked in?" The honest answer is no. You are locking in your date and your celebrant — everything else stays open, and gets shaped around you in the weeks leading up to the wedding.
What the base package already gives you

Before we talk extras, remember what's already in the 36,900 THB Barefoot Ceremony — celebrant, permit, floral aisle stands, bridal bouquet, buttonhole, one hour of photography, signing table, coordination and return transport. The full list is on what's included and the Barefoot Ceremony. Many couples add nothing at all — the base package is genuinely complete.
Ceremony personalisation (no extra cost)
- Personal vows — written by you, spoken to each other.
- A reading — from a guest, or read by the celebrant.
- Symbolic rituals — sand ceremony, ring warming, a shared toast.
- Processional song — played from a small speaker.
- Cultural touches — a moment for each of your traditions.
Supparin gathers your preferences in your 30-minute call and briefs the celebrant so the wording feels like you, not a template.
Common paid extras
- Floral arch — a bamboo or driftwood arch dressed in seasonal florals.
- Chairs — for guests, small groups only.
- Extra photography — a longer session, or a second photographer.
- Videography — a short cinematic edit of the day.
- Hair & makeup — brought to your hotel room.
- Live music — an acoustic musician for the processional and drinks.
- A small celebration meal — a nearby restaurant or beach club.
Real prices for every option are on the extras page. You add only what you actually want.
How late can you add things?
Most extras can be added or adjusted up to about two weeks before your ceremony. Videography, specific stylists and larger floral setups need a little more notice — Supparin flags exact deadlines in your call. Small things (a reading, a song, an extra buttonhole) can be added days before.
What if we want to change our beach or time?
Beach and ceremony time are actively planned around the tide, sunset and weather closer to the date — see which beach is best and what happens if it rains. If you have a strong preference, tell Supparin early and we'll build the day around it.
What if we want a much bigger wedding?
Barefoot is built for simple ceremonies — usually two people, or a small group up to about ten guests (see Phuket beach wedding with guests). Beyond that — a full reception, large guest list, styled venue, catering coordination — is a different kind of project. Our sister planners at Unique Phuket Wedding Planners specialise in bespoke weddings and are the right team for that.
How payments handle changes
The 20% deposit reserves your date. Any extras you add later are simply added to your final balance, invoiced clearly and paid a month before the ceremony. Full flow on payment schedule.
